Solus Amor premiers in Asia
Our company’s highly acclaimed production, Solus Amor is the opening performance of South Korea’s leading dance festival; organised for the 20th time this year, Busan International Dance Festival presents productions from 40 different troupes arriving from 10 countries. Directed by Bence Vági, Solus Amor’s Korean debut also marks our company’s first Asian premiere. Our cirque danse piece talking about faith and love, about the universe and nature plays between 7th and 9th June in the Grand Hall of the Busan Cinema Center.
The Busan International Dance Festival (BIDF) was inaugurated in 2005 and has been held annually in Busan City, South Korea ever since. It has by now become one of Korea’s most notable dance festivals due to its diverse range of performances and high standards. Over the past two decades, the festival has showcased around 1,000 dance works invited from 50 countries across Asia, Europe, Africa, North America, South America, and the Middle East.
