Between the 7th and the 10th of December 2019 we had the second round of the Cirque du Monde social circus workshop organised in cooperation with Cirque du Soleil with the support of the National Cultural Fund of Hungary (www.nka.hu) in the rehearsal space of Recirquel. Led by Tommaso Negri, trainer of the Cirque du Monde program, we had participants with various backgrounds – social workers, teachers, circus trainers -, all of whom were already involved in the first round of the training back in 2018. It was a very important milestone in the introduction of social circus in Hungary, a program that aims at helping the disadvantaged young in the development of their social skills by training educators who will later on use the skills from the workshop in their work back at home.
